Get started without guessing
The redesigned help flow maps to the actual app: onboarding, invites, verification, calls, privacy, and backup recovery.
Create your identity
ZeeMSG creates an in-app identity. There is no phone-number registration step and no carrier dependency.
Add a contact with invite or QR
Paste an invite, open an invite link, show your QR code, or scan theirs from the account and contact flows.
Verify before you trust
Open the verification flow, compare fingerprints out of band, and only then mark the contact as verified.
Messaging and calls
Start a chat from the chats tab, use attachments or voice notes from the composer, and place voice/video calls from chat or call history.
Privacy settings
Use the Privacy screen for lock settings, PIN mode, typing state, read receipts, link previews, and trust-on-first-use preferences.
Backups and restore
Use Account to export an encrypted backup, then import it with the correct password on another device.
Troubleshooting
When the network path is the problem
ZeeMSG exposes troubleshooting controls instead of hiding them behind generic “try again” dialogs.
- Switch between direct and Tor mode.
- Check relay health and public IP.
- Update relay or TURN settings if your deployment uses custom infrastructure.
- Review notification state and device-token status from the settings surface.
Advanced controls stay visible
Relay diagnostics, Cloudflare Access fields, TURN options, and backup protection are part of the app’s actual settings model.
