Here is the current ZeeMSG roadmap direction after the March 17, 2026 public rollout.

Current priorities

• Product polish: keep refining onboarding, invites, contact verification, notifications, and settings so the core experience feels faster and cleaner.
• Calls and media: continue improving voice and video calling quality, media handling, and reliability across real-world usage.
• Privacy and recovery: keep hardening backup, restore, lock, and network privacy flows so setup stays simple without weakening control.
• Site and community: keep tightening the public site and forum so support, release notes, and product discussion are easier to follow.

Community roadmap

• Use Announcements for releases and public progress updates.
• Use Help & Setup to surface onboarding issues, install questions, and troubleshooting friction.
• Use Feature Requests to push workflow ideas, missing capabilities, and priorities from real usage.
• Use Privacy & Security for verification, threat model, and secure configuration discussion.

How priorities will be chosen

• Stability issues that block messaging, onboarding, or calling come first.
• Clear UX friction from real users gets prioritized ahead of cosmetic extras.
• Privacy and reliability work stays part of the main roadmap, not a side track.

This roadmap is a direction post, not a fixed promise list. Priorities can shift as testing and community feedback come in.

Announcements / March 17, 2026: site redesign,...

We finished the first full public rollout for ZeeMSG on March 17, 2026.

What shipped

• The main public site was redesigned to match the iOS app's modern look and product direction.
• Public pages were rewritten around the real ZeeMSG feature set: private messaging without phone numbers, invite and QR onboarding, verification, voice and video calling, media and voice notes, link previews, encrypted backups, app lock, notifications, appearance settings, and network privacy controls.
• The FAQ, Help, Security, About, Features, Download, Compare, Donate, and Changelog pages were refreshed so they reflect the app more accurately.
• Browser fallback handling for invite links was added so /i/... no longer falls through to a dead end when the app is not available.
• Legacy .html duplicates were redirected to their canonical PHP pages, while sitemap and .well-known behavior were preserved.

Community launch

• The ZeeMSG forum is now live with boards for Announcements, Help & Setup, Feature Requests, Privacy & Security, and General Discussion.
• The forum theme was brought into the main ZeeMSG visual system so it feels like part of the same site instead of a stock SMF install.
• Board layouts, headers, spacing, utility controls, and guest-facing navigation were cleaned up across the index and topic views.

• Use Announcements for official release notes and launch updates.
• Use Help & Setup for install, onboarding, invite, and troubleshooting questions.
• Use Feature Requests for roadmap ideas and workflow feedback.
• Use Privacy & Security for verification, threat model, and relay privacy discussion.

More cleanup and polish will continue, but the redesigned site and the first community rollout are now live.
